Hi,
Silly question that is driving me mad...

I've set up a HTPC for my partner (using Ubuntu 9.10), with some big icons on the desktop (link to the movies directory, Zattoo, etc..) and I would like that whenever I insert a DVD the icon that appears on the desktop would be at some defined position and of some size.

I've seen that there's an entry for each dvd in nautilus/desktop-metadata where's, by default, position is 64,10 and size 1. Are those parameters changeable or hardcoded??? (I guess that position is the default for the first automatic icon on the desktop)

That metadata is defined by the DVD mounting name and some parameters like "@32@volume" (or something like that, eg ROSEMARYBABY@32@volume)... is there any option to se a wildcard entry? or... if nothing is possible I guess there would be an option to always mount the dvd as "DVD" instead of the volume name, I dunno...

Or, anyone know how to place a link to the DVD drive (similar to that in computer:/// , with the option to Eject... that's why I need that, as the DVD tray refuses to open using its button)

any suggestions???

Thanks in advance for your help
