Does anybody know how to set number of lines the mouse wheel will scroll in gnome/gtk? This feature is pretty essential to me, but I am unable to find any configuration tool or web page that does/describes the setting.

Thanks.

this is hard-coded, iirc. current gtk isn't very flexible in this regard. i believe that enhanced scrolling behaviour/control are in the plans for gtk 2.6 (due out some 8 months from now....)
