|
|
Hello,
i really like to run emacs in a console. When pressing certain keys, say ALT+E to put the cursor at the end of the current paragraph gnome-terminal's menu "Edit" pops up.
So is there any way to suppress gnome-terminal doing this?
regards,

Just hide the menubar: View->Show Menubar (unchecked). _________________

The correct way to do this would of course be to select "Edit=>Keyboard Shortcuts" from the terminal menu and click on the "disable all menu access keys" checkbox!
But if you don't need/want the menubar, then skynnyrs solutions is just fine!
